The short version
Two ways to measure AI answers
By its own answer formula, Peec AI works out to one answer per prompt per model a day and charts the trend. mentionedin.ai asks fewer prompts 3 times per engine in each test, then grades your pages and, on request, drafts a new opening you publish yourself.
Peec AI calls itself "AI search analytics for marketing teams". Its docs say it runs your prompts across AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot daily, and that it analyzes patterns over time, since AI responses naturally vary day to day. Its plans are priced by the number of tracked prompts and the models you pick.
mentionedin.ai starts from the same fact, that one AI answer is only a sample, and handles it inside each test. A consistency test asks ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Gemini the same prompt 3 times each and gives the prompt a label for how often you were named. Then the app grades your own pages, rewrites the opening on request and lists the cited pages that name your competitors but not you. mentionedin.ai is not affiliated with Peec AI.

Method
Why 3 runs per engine matter
The same prompt can name you in one answer and skip you in the next.
Peec AI counts monthly answers as tracked prompts times active models times tracking frequency, which works out to one answer per prompt per model per day, and its docs say it analyzes patterns over time because answers vary day to day. mentionedin.ai asks 3 times inside each test.
mentionedin.ai asks each engine 3 times inside every consistency test, so a single test already says how steady the answer is. In our calibration, 3 runs reached the same verdict as a much longer test in 225 of 240 prompt and engine cells; the methodology page shows how.
- Strong: Named in 3 of 3 runs.
- Moderate: Named in 2 of 3 runs.
- Weak: Named in 1 of 3 runs.
- Invisible: Named in 0 of 3 runs, used only when every run completed and the engine did not answer purely from memory. Otherwise the result is Inconclusive.
- Error: Every run failed, so the prompt gets no label from that test.
- A weekly spot check is 1 run per prompt per engine and is shown as a single sample, never as a label.
Engines and price
Price for ChatGPT, Claude, AI Overviews and Gemini
On the sticker Peec AI starts lower. The difference is in what the entry plan covers.
Peec AI Starter is €85 a month, or €70 a month billed yearly, for 50 prompts on 3 models you choose from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. Claude appears in Peec AI's plan table under Enterprise. mentionedin.ai is $99 a month, or €99 in euros, with ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Gemini all included and no engine add ons.
The trade is volume for depth. Peec AI Starter covers 50 prompts every day. mentionedin.ai covers 15 tracked prompts, with 204 consistency engine runs a month, enough to test all 15 tracked prompts and the 2 control prompts once at 3 runs on each of the four engines. Automatic confirmation tests draw from the same runs; the weekly spot check, once switched on, does not.
